Stock Level Adjustments

The Stock Level Adjustments feature in OrderEazi allows users to manually correct stock quantities in the system. This is useful when physical stock levels differ from what is recorded in the system d

Adjustments are tracked and recorded, ensuring accountability and visibility across your inventory operations.

πŸ“‹ Adjustment List

  • The module provides a list of all adjustments that have already been created.

  • Each entry shows the adjustment details, reason, and tracking information.

  • Users can create new adjustments or review past ones for auditing purposes.

✍️ Creating a Stock Adjustment

When creating an adjustment manually, the user follows these steps:

🏒 1. Select Warehouse

  • If the user has access to multiple warehouses, they must select which one to adjust.

  • If only one warehouse is available, it is selected automatically.

πŸ”– 2. Enter SKU

  • The user provides the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) for the product they want to adjust.

πŸ“¦ 3. Confirm SKU & Quantity

  • If the SKU exists, the user enters the quantity to adjust.

  • If the SKU does not exist, the system prevents quantity entry.

βž•βž– 4. Add or Remove Stock

  • The user adds the line to the adjustment.

  • The system requires them to specify whether they are adding stock (positive adjustment) or removing stock (negative adjustment).

πŸ“ 5. Provide Adjustment Reason

  • A reason and reason description must be supplied.

  • Supporting images can also be uploaded to document the adjustment (e.g., damaged goods).

βœ… 6. Submit Adjustment

  • Once the adjustment is complete, the user submits it.

  • The stock levels are updated in the system.

  • The action is fully tracked for auditing.

πŸ“‚ Importing a Stock Adjustment

Instead of creating adjustments manually, users can import them using an Excel template.

πŸ“€ 1. Upload File

  • Users must upload an Excel file.

  • The file must match the structure of the downloadable template provided in OrderEazi.

πŸ“‘ 2. Required Fields in Template

The Excel template requires the following columns:

  • SKU/Barcode – the product identifier

  • Location to Adjust – the stock location being changed

  • Warehouse Name – must match the warehouse name in OrderEazi

  • Qty – positive numbers to add stock, negative numbers to remove stock

  • Reason for Change – a description of why the adjustment is being made

πŸ“₯ 3. Dropzone Upload

  • Once complete, the file is uploaded via the dropzone area in the system.

  • The adjustment is then processed and tracked automatically.

  • Ensures accurate stock levels across warehouses.

  • Tracks all changes for accountability and auditing.

  • Supports both manual entry and bulk imports for flexibility.
