End Users
👤 End Users
The End Users feature allows you to associate a project or order with the actual recipient of the goods, rather than only the customer (client) placing the order. This adds flexibility to how orders are fulfilled and delivered, without changing your commercial relationship with your customer.
🧾 What is an End User?
An End User represents the final recipient of the goods. This could be:
An individual buying goods through a reseller
A site, branch, or department receiving stock
A third party receiving goods on behalf of your customer
End Users are distinct from Clients in OrderEazi. Clients remain the entity you sell to and invoice, while End Users represent where the goods are ultimately delivered.
⚙️ How End Users Work
When working on a project, you can optionally select an End User.
Each End User consists of:
A Name
One or more Contacts
One or more Addresses
You search for an End User by name or contact name, then select:
The contact to associate with the project
The address to be used for delivery
This information is stored against the project and used where applicable throughout the order lifecycle.
🚚 End User Delivery
When an End User is selected, you can enable End User Delivery.
When this option is enabled:
The project is marked as being delivered to the End User
The Shipping Address of the project is automatically set to the selected End User address
This makes it clear that the goods should be delivered directly to the End User, rather than to the client’s default shipping address.
🔒 Managing End Users
End Users are not managed in OrderEazi Central.
Key points:
End Users can only be imported via the API from an external system
There is currently no manual creation or editing of End Users within the OrderEazi UI
All End User data (names, contacts, addresses) is maintained in the source system
This ensures End User information remains consistent with your upstream systems.
💡 Why Use End Users?
The End Users feature is designed to support more flexible selling and fulfillment models, including:
Direct-to-site deliveries without routing stock through the client’s warehouse
Back-to-back orders delivered straight to the final recipient
Projects with multiple delivery locations across different end users
Reseller or dealer models where billing and delivery recipients differ
Improved delivery accuracy, using end-user specific contacts and addresses
Clear separation between commercial customer details and logistical delivery details
By decoupling who you sell to from where you deliver, End Users allow you to adapt OrderEazi to more complex, real-world sales and distribution scenarios.
✅ Summary
End Users provide a simple but powerful way to:
Capture who goods are ultimately delivered to
Select the correct contact and delivery address per project
Deliver directly to end users when required
This feature enhances flexibility without adding complexity to your core customer and invoicing workflows.
